The autism support assistant is responsible for providing daily support to adults with autism to enhance their quality of life, ensuring alignment with agency values and individual goals. Responsibilities include maximizing health and safety, implementing support plans, coaching in various life skills, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must have either a developmental service worker diploma, human services diploma/Degree, or a personal support worker certificate, or a high school diploma with one year of related experience, preferably supporting individuals with autism. A valid driver's license (Minimum g2) and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory requirements.
