The autism support associate leads the team to provide daily support for individuals with autism, ensuring services align with agency values and enhance the quality of life, health, and safety of persons supported. Key duties include implementing person centered planning, coaching staff, administering medication, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess either a developmental service worker diploma, human services diploma/Degree, or a personal support worker certificate, or alternatively, a high school diploma plus five years of related experience, preferably supporting individuals with autism. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and the physical ability to support adults with autism, including cpi techniques, are mandatory requirements.
