The clinical therapist supports quality and clinical outcomes by efficiently providing services to persons diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and their families, adhering to professional standards and legislative requirements. Responsibilities include designing and implementing evidence-Based intervention procedures using applied behaviour analysis principles, conducting assessments, developing behaviour plans, and providing direct support and coaching to families and staff.
Candidates must possess a university degree or college diploma specializing in applied behaviour analysis, behaviour science, psychology, or a related human services field. A minimum of one year of experience working within a clinical multidisciplinary team using aba techniques with individuals with asd and their families is required, along with the ability to perform physical techniques associated with non-Violent crisis intervention certification.
