The community life animator will collaborate with teams to develop, create, implement, animate, and evaluate formal and informal educational, recreational, sporting, or sociocultural activities related to personal and group development. Responsibilities include proposing programming, managing activities, developing life skills content, organizing clean-Up tasks, building external relationships, establishing trust, and documenting observations while professionally intervening during crises.
Candidates must possess a college diploma in a relevant field (Specialized education or leisure intervention technique) or two years of relevant work experience, along with knowledge of community, health, and social service networks, especially those serving the homeless population. Essential skills include excellent planning, organization, and activity animation abilities in both official languages, crisis intervention capacity, empathy, active listening, and comfort in the homelessness environment.
