The role involves collaborating with teams to develop, create, implement, animate, and evaluate formal and informal educational, recreational, sporting, or sociocultural activities aimed at personal and group development. Responsibilities also include proposing programming, managing activity logistics, maintaining a caring environment, intervening professionally during crises, and completing necessary follow-Up documentation.
Candidates must possess a college diploma in a relevant field (Specialized education or leisure intervention) or two years of relevant work experience, along with knowledge of community resources for the homeless population. Essential qualifications include excellent planning, organizational, and animation skills in both official languages (French and english), crisis intervention capability, empathy, and comfort working with the homeless community.
