Director of Development

The director of development provides leadership in developing and implementing current and deferred major gift fundraising programs for the faculty of arts and science, focusing on securing donations of $100,000+. This role involves managing major gifts officers, cultivating prospects, soliciting major gifts, leading annual strategy setting, and ensuring appropriate stewardship.

A university degree is required, with a graduate degree being an asset, alongside a minimum of seven years of progressively senior experience in advancement, preferably within an educational institution. Demonstrated success in major gifts, gift planning, annual giving, strategic planning, and managing/Mentoring key stakeholders is mandatory.
