The intervention specialist will support the educational and behavioral goals of students, particularly those with individualized education programs, by working cooperatively with teachers to modify curriculum and implement intervention strategies. Key duties include conducting assessments, writing and implementing behavior plans, facilitating iep meetings, and utilizing research-Based best practices in instruction.
Candidates must possess a current state license and knowledge of state standards and common core standards, along with experience in inclusion or co-Teaching models. Essential qualifications include high proficiency in written and verbal communication, comfort with coaching environments, and the ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
