Responsibilities include supporting classroom instruction, maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment, and supervising students throughout the school day across various locations like the classroom, hallways, playground, and cafeteria. The substitute must also follow provided lesson plans and utilize school-Approved curricula.
Candidates must be eligible for or currently hold a state of michigan substitute teaching license and have a minimum of 60 completed college credit hours, preferably in education or a related field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks are essential.
