Relief Youth Worker

The relief youth worker is responsible for providing in-Person social and recreational programming, including basketball and homework support, for youth aged 13-18 in a safe and engaging environment. Key duties involve fostering positive relationships, encouraging participation, connecting youth to community supports, and adhering to agency policies.

Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in a related field like child and youth worker or social service worker, along with a minimum of one year of experience working with youth aged 13-18. Experience and sensitivity working with multicultural communities are required, and proficiency in languages like arabic or somali is considered an asset.
