Educators are responsible for providing quality care and creative programming directly to children while building meaningful relationships with children and families. They must deliver high-Quality, age-Appropriate programs based on the ymca playing to learn curriculum and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Candidates must possess basic early childhood educator (Ece) certification recognized in british columbia and are required to obtain emergency first aid, cpr-C, and aed certification within 30 days of starting. An infant toddler educator (Ite) license or special needs educator (Sne) certification are considered assets.
