As a paddling instructor, responsibilities include designing and facilitating safe, engaging paddling programs in various watercraft while ensuring equipment maintenance and adherence to safety standards. As a camp counsellor, staff must live with campers, provide 24-Hour supervision, plan activities, and manage group dynamics to ensure physical and emotional safety.
Candidates must have experience working with children and youth, along with mandatory certifications including standard first aid & cpr-C, bronze cross or paddle canada instructor, and a pleasure craft operator’s card. A recent criminal reference check with vulnerable sector screening and three successful references are also required.
