Casual ECE Assistant I

The ece assistant i collaborates with the ece instructor to develop and implement preschool or group care programs, ensuring adherence to all relevant licensing policies and guidelines. This role involves working directly with the ece instructor under the primary direction of the ece instructor.

Candidates must have a minimum of secondary school graduation and an assistant certificate from the early childhood education registry program, along with an approved first aid course and experience in a licensed child care setting. Licensing requirements mandate being 19 years of age, providing a certificate of health, three letters of reference, and passing a criminal record check.
