The camper support specialist is responsible for supporting camp staff in addressing the mental health, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of campers. They will provide direct support to campers and collaborate with the wellness team, camp management, and families to ensure the best interests of the campers are met.
Candidates should be graduates of a post-Secondary program in social work, social service work, or child and youth work, with experience working with youth aged 11-17 in a mental health setting. Skills in crisis management and an understanding of challenges faced by low-Income youth are preferred.
