The classroom teacher is responsible for providing an educational, supportive, and holistic atmosphere to foster students' intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. This involves organizing and implementing an instructional program aligned with wasauksing first nation and ontario curriculum policies to ensure student success and cultural identity.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a bachelor of education or equivalent, along with basic qualifications recognized by the ontario college of teachers. Desirable assets include the ability to speak, read, and understand anishnaabemowin (Ojibway language), along with possessing a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
