Early childhood educators ensure a safe and engaging environment by designing and leading activities tailored to children's interests and developmental stages, adhering to the ymca playing to learn curriculum. They are also responsible for cultivating strong, positive relationships with parents, fellow educators, and community partners to deliver high-Quality childcare.
Candidates must possess basic early childhood educator certification recognized in british columbia and be able to obtain emergency first aid and cpr-C & aed within 30 days of starting. Infant toddler educator or special needs educator licenses are considered assets, along with strong communication skills.
