Key responsibilities include using a lens of social-Emotional learning to create an inspiring class environment, motivating students, and developing culturally relevant, inclusive french and spanish educational curricula aligned with ib and ministry standards. The role also requires establishing positive relationships with stakeholders, actively participating in faculty meetings, and assuming co-Curricular and supervisory duties.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher with a specialization in spanish and/Or french, and preferably ontario college of teachers certification with intermediate/Senior qualifications. Essential qualities include strong curriculum development skills, experience incorporating social-Emotional learning, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
