Responsibilities also include developing and revising care plans, incorporating patient teaching, supporting colleagues, and participating in quality improvement and research activities.
Applicants must hold current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the british columbia college of nurses and midwives (Bccnm) and typically require a minimum of 1-2 years of medical/Surgical experience, with 2 years preferred. Successful completion of the required post-Basic education program is mandatory before working in the department.
