Responsibilities include administering medications, collaborating with the nephrology team, maintaining equipment knowledge, and assisting in orienting new staff.
Candidates must have graduated from a recognized practical nurse program and completed a recognized dialysis program for licensed practical nurses, along with one year of recent related experience in acute care, or an equivalent combination. Current practicing registration with the british columbia college of nurses and midwives and basic cardiac life support certification are mandatory.
