Nurses will conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and evaluate evidence-Based nursing care plans, and adhere to established standards while providing high-Quality care. Responsibilities also include monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate records, educating patients and families, and providing clinical leadership and support to the healthcare team.
Applicants must possess current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the british columbia college of nurses and midwives (Bccnm), or be eligible for funded post-Basic education if they have 1-2 years of medical/Surgical experience (2 years preferred). Required competencies include demonstrated cpr competence, teamwork, decision-Making, conflict resolution, teaching aptitude, and clinical leadership.
