Job Summary
- Fraser Health Authority (FHA), British Columbia's and Canada’s largest and fastest growing health authority, is seeking a qualified 1.0 FTE Pediatrician to join the medical staff at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre (ARHCC) providing urgent pediatric services.
- This opportunity is designed to expand the existing community based pediatric practice at ARHCC.
- Applications from new graduates are welcome, and mentoring will be provided over two years to those applicants.
- As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Pediatrics, UBC.
- This role expands our community-based pediatric program and supports urgent pediatric care.
- New graduates are welcome; a two-year mentorship program is available.
- About the Site 18-bed pediatric unit, 13-bed level 2 NICU, and outpatient clinic area.
- Subspecialty clinics including Diabetes, Asthma, and Cardiology.
- Busy maternity program (~3,000 births/year) and active ED support.
- Strong collaboration with BC Children’s Hospital and regional hospitals.

- Provisional license applicants welcome (supervision available).
