Nurses will conduct thorough patient assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-Based nursing care plans, and adhere to established policies and standards. They will also monitor patient progress, maintain accurate records, provide education, and advocate for patient rights and dignity.
Applicants must possess current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the british columbia college of nurses and midwives (Bccnm), and ideally have 1-2 years of medical/Surgical experience (2 years preferred) to qualify for funded post-Basic education. If qualifications are missing, providence health care will fund post-Basic education for eligible candidates.
