Key accountabilities involve using a social-Emotional learning lens to foster a supportive class environment, motivating students to achieve their potential, and ensuring curriculum alignment with ib pyp and ministry of education standards. The role also requires developing program plans, maintaining accurate records, and communicating student progress formally to parents and colleagues.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher and ontario college of teachers certification or equivalent with p/J qualifications, demonstrating a passion for student growth through strong pedagogy and sel strategies. Experience with kindergarten classes and knowledge of the ib pyp curriculum are preferred assets.
