The camp nurse promotes camper well-Being by planning, assessing, intervening, and documenting physical and emotional health, while also supporting staff with urgent needs and participating in camp activities. Key duties include reviewing medical information, providing direct care for illness/Injury, liaising with parents, responding to emergencies, and leading related training sessions.
Candidates must be a registered practical nurse (Rpn) or registered nurse (Rn) in good standing with the college of nurses of ontario without practice restrictions. Required experience includes working with children/Adolescents, demonstrated emergency/Routine care ability, current standard first aid/Cpr certification, and passing an enhanced police information check.
