A Ph.D. in Chinese literature or a related field is required, along with near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Chinese literature and experience teaching university-level academic writing courses.

Sessional Lecturer I - $9,997.48 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $10,699.22 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Sessional Lecturer II - $10,699.22 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,953.96 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Sessional Lecturer III - $10,953.96 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $11,228.90 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Ph.D. in Chinese literature or a closely related field is required.Demonstrated knowledge in Chinese literature and experience teaching university-level Chinese academic writingcourses are required.(Near-)native fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching this course or a closely related university-level course is preferred.Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II and SessionalLecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12.
