The incumbent follows through with proper protocol for infection control in all aspects of clinical work, provides administrative services as directed for patients, both in person and on the telephone, accesses and enters data on the Clinic Management System in order to retrieve patient information and book appointments, and assists in special assignments and other duties that are Faculty-related. Please note this is for a one year term until June 2027 in the Undergraduate Clinics. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting faculty, dental students and technicians during treatment procedures Updating and maintaining database records Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate Applying established standards when cleaning, sanitizing and/or sterilizing facilities Applying established standards when administering biological and/or medical imaging Preparing, assembling and setting-up material, equipment and supplies according to the needs of the facility Following rules and procedural instructions when loading and unloading sterilizers, equipment and kit control, and packaging consumables Providing safety training and ensuring compliance to occupational safety precautions Following rules and procedural process related to Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)
