Prepare and teach a graduate course on issues in numeracy, including lecturing and facilitating group activities. Evaluate student work, provide feedback, and participate in departmental planning meetings.
Requires demonstrated experience in math curriculum development and K-12 mathematics teaching. An Ontario Teaching Certificate is considered an asset.

An Ontario Teaching Certificate is an asset Description of duties: TA responsibilities: 1. Attend all classes and support students during class time (Tues. 9-12 noon and Tues. 1-4 pm) 2. Mark assignments (4 cohorts) 3. Oversee one asynchronous class 4. Assist with questions (email and face to face) 5. Help with room and materials preparation - arrive at 8:30 am to help set up room 6. Hold office hours for TCs who require support (upon request) Prepare, organize, and teach this graduate course; be available to students seeking assistance between classes; evaluate and provide students with feedback on their work.
