RLST 100 – Introduction to Religious Studies An introduction to the academic study of religion; a survey of the thought and practices of major world religions; the impact of religion on society and culture Position Requirements The successful candidate must hold a minimum of an MA in Religious Studies, preferably a PhD; have a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level; have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle]) Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, and the work associated with this position must be performed within Canada. As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00-11:15. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week. Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date.
