Salary Range
As per Academic Salary Grid Temporary Market Stipend Incumbent This position is to backfill for a .5FTE (Linda Martin’s position) and the remaining instructional needs for the on-base TR program. This position includes a .25FTE PH release. Instruct Therapeutic Recreation courses. 2. Update, revise and maintain core Therapeutic Recreation education materials (course manuals, information packages, etc.). 3. Supervise and evaluate students involved in the Therapeutic Recreation education courses. 4. Work as a team member with Health Sciences Program Head and other base and continuing education personnel. 5. Primary responsibility will be instruction and practicum advisor for the Therapeutic Recreation program courses. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Bachelor degree in Therapeutic Recreation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. 2. Current membership in the Saskatchewan Association of Recreation Professionals. 3. Two years’ recent/relevant experience working in the field of Therapeutic Recreation, both in clinical and community practice. 4. Effective interpersonal skills. 5. Effective communication skills. 6.
