Salary Range

As per Academic Salary Table Temporary Market Stipend $10,000 annually Incumbent Total Assigned days (AC) / Total Hours per biweekly pay Position is 1.0 FTE ongoing and includes a 199 day assignment annually. Posting Status Open Special Instructions to Applicants This is for 2 full-time, ongoing faculty positions in the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program at Regina Campus Faculty teach in a variety of settings within the CCA program including classroom/theory (in-person & online), lab/simulation facilitation, and instruction of students in various clinical practice education settings. Participate in ongoing curriculum development. 6. Develop ongoing community linkage/networking. 7. Travel is required. 8. Some weekend and evening work required. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a Degree in Nursing or Education or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Current registration with CRNS or RPNAS. 3. Minimum two years of relevant experience in geriatric care (i.e. Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, Home Care, Community Care or Acute Care Medical Units). 4. Effective instructional ability. 5. Effective interpersonal skills. 6. Effective communication (oral and written) skills. 7. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology. 8. Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment. 9. Demonstrates valuing diversity. Desired QSA
