Incorporate best practice and evidence-based research in simulation program development with a focus on standardization and efficiencies across the healthcare continuum. Design simulations based on purpose, theory, and modality. Design scenarios/cases for simulated learning experiences (or assist in collaboration with course professors). Use a theory-based facilitative approach in simulation, including prebrief and debrief. Utilize various types of simulation fidelity and computer technology. Assist faculty with Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs). Act as a resource person for independent student practice. Participate as an active and engaged member of the School, Faculty, and University. Engage in professional organizations at local, national, and international levels to promote continuous improvement in evidence-based teaching and learning.
