The role involves teaching pediatric nursing courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Responsibilities include utilizing various delivery formats and ensuring student success through effective learning practices and assessment.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in nursing, education, or a related field and possess a valid RN license and nurse practitioner certification. Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
The successful candidate will effectively teach undergraduate and graduate-level nurse practitioner courses using a variety of content delivery formats, including on ground, online, and distance education/remote courses. The candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student success through effective teaching-learning practices and course outcomes assessment. The candidate will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact successfully with students, faculty and the university community.
The candidate must possess a graduate degree in nursing with a doctoral degree in nursing or education or related field (i.e., public health). An unencumbered Pennsylvania or multi-state RN license and nurse practitioner certification in a relevant specialty area (i.e., FNP, PNP) are required. Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
