Child Care Support Worker

This role involves assisting in planning and implementing age-Appropriate activities to promote social interaction and personal development, while also providing feedback on child development to team members or the program director. Responsibilities include ensuring effective risk management through monitoring food safety, medication, allergies, and facility cleanliness, and intervening when necessary to comply with child protection legislation.

Candidates must have completed secondary school, possess current standard first aid & cpr certification, and current safe food handling certification, along with a required health assessment and immunization record. A minimum of six months of prior work experience with children, including special populations, is required, with previous day camp experience being an asset.
