Course Design: Work with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to effectively blueprint, design, and develop courses. 2. Technology Integration: Research and incorporate emerging technologies into instructional design processes in alignment with Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Strategic Plan and the Learning and Teaching Division’s Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) Plan. 3. Professional Development: Stay current with trends and best practices in instructional design and educational technologies to support Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Strategic Plan and TEL Plan. 4. Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessment and learner analysis with SMEs to help inform the development and revision of courses 5. Authentic Assessment: Recommends authentic assessments and strategies with SMEs to ensure students are assessed appropriately. 6. Accessibility and Inclusivity: Create accessible, and inclusive learning experiences using universal design for learning (UDL) principles and Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Quality Standards for Online Courses. 7. Project Management: Effectively manage competing priorities when working on multiple course development projects. 8. Open Education Resources: Support the use of open educational resources in e-learning. 9. Faculty Consultation: Advise faculty on best practices for creating engaging learner-centred content using suitable instructional design strategies and approaches. 10.
