Inclusion Facilitator, Summer Camps

The inclusion facilitator supports inclusive and safe camp experiences for youth of diverse abilities by providing direct camper support, communicating with families, developing support plans, and mentoring instructors on inclusive practices. This role also involves monitoring behavior, leading de-Escalation efforts, and documenting safety concerns to ensure all campers feel a sense of belonging.

Candidates must possess a current criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search and standard (Intermediate) first aid and cpr level c certification, along with a minimum of two years of direct experience supporting children and youth with diverse needs. Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (Dei) principles and relevant education or experience in fields like child studies or social work are also required.
