Deliver high-quality on-ice and off-ice hockey instruction for children aged 4-12, focusing on skill development and safety. Responsibilities include planning lessons, supervising participants, and maintaining a positive, energetic learning environment.
Candidates must have a strong hockey background, experience working with youth, and current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certifications. Post-secondary education in Kinesiology or Physical Education and NCCP certifications are considered assets.

WinSport’s Summer Hockey Camps offer a dynamic on‑ice and off‑ice development experience for young athletes. Participants explore skating fundamentals, puck control, passing, shooting, gameplay concepts, and physical literacy activities. Our guiding principles include building confidence, developing core hockey skills, fostering teamwork, and creating meaningful connections through sport.
This summer camp position plays a key role in delivering a high‑quality, safe, and progressive hockey camp experience for participants ages 4–12. Instructors adapt their coaching approach based on the age, ability, and experience level of campers. Younger groups (ages 4–8) focus on play‑based foundational skating and hockey skill development, while older groups (ages 9–12) engage in more structured instruction, skill progression, and game‑based learning.
