Early Childhood Educator

The early childhood educator will plan, implement, and evaluate activities tailored to meet the individual and group needs of children aged 3 to 5 years old within a childcare program. Responsibilities also include guiding and caring for the children, fostering learning, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining cooperative teamwork and positive family relationships.

Candidates must possess an ece basic and/Or special needs certification, along with childcare first aid and food safe level 1. Essential qualifications include strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and deep knowledge of emergent curriculum, the bc early learning framework, child development, and family engagement strategies.
