Early Childhood Educator

The early childhood educator will plan, implement, and evaluate activities tailored to meet the individual and group needs of children aged 3 to 5 years old within a childcare program. Responsibilities also include guiding and caring for the children, fostering positive self-Concepts, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining cooperative teamwork and supportive relationships with families.

Candidates must possess an ece basic and/Or special needs certification, along with childcare first aid and food safe level 1 certifications. Essential requirements include well-Developed interpersonal skills and strong knowledge of emergent curriculum, the bc early learning framework, child development needs, and family engagement strategies.
