Early childhood educators ensure a safe and engaging environment by designing and leading activities tailored to the developmental stages of children, adhering to the ymca playing to learn curriculum. They are responsible for providing quality care, building positive relationships with families, and maintaining a clean and safe environment while following all licensing requirements.
Requirements summary
A required early childhood educator (Ece) license recognized in british columbia, along with an infant toddler educator (Ite) certification, is mandatory for this role. Candidates must also possess an emergency first aid and cpr-C & aed certificate (Obtainable within 30 days of starting) and be prepared to provide satisfactory references and a recent criminal record check.
