Candidates should possess knowledge of intervention theories and deafblindness, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating self-Motivation and the ability to work independently. Desired qualifications include a diploma or degree in human services, experience with alternate communication formats like two-Hand manual or asl, and a willingness to learn braille.
