Community Librarian, Central (permanent, full-time)

The community librarian provides public service, meeting strategic objectives, and directly supervises branch programmers in developing and delivering library programs and services. This role also involves supervising technology staff and cultivating relationships with external organizations to understand and respond to community needs.

Candidates must possess an ala accredited master of library and information studies degree and demonstrate the ability to supervise staff effectively while delivering high-Quality, customer-Focused service. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-Solving skills, along with knowledge of current technology trends, are also required.
