The clinical nurse educator develops and delivers educational programs using evidence-Informed practice and education theory to support nurses in the post anesthetic care unit, fostering continuous learning and excellence in patient care. Responsibilities include assessing learning needs, creating supportive learning environments, evaluating program effectiveness, and participating in quality improvement and research activities.
Candidates must possess current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the bccnm and have three years of recent related clinical experience in the designated area, including one year in education or leadership. Completion of postgraduate coursework or certification applicable to the clinical area is also required.
