The clinical health educator is responsible for operating and maintaining the clinical pastoral education (Cpe) program across fraser health, ensuring it meets canadian association of spiritual care (Casc) standards. This role also involves providing organizational, staff, and patient education related to spiritual health, consulting practitioners, and offering direct spiritual health services as assigned.
Candidates must possess a master's degree in theological/Spiritual studies, along with two basic and two advanced units of clinical pastoral education (Cpe) and certification as an educator through casc. A minimum of five years of relevant experience as a spiritual health provider in a healthcare setting, including leadership or educational duties, is required, along with casc practitioner certification.
