The physician will serve as the most responsible provider (Mrp) covering st. Michael’s hospice and the palliative complex care unit, while also providing consultation services to acute care and community-Based patients. This full-Time locum position supports a 12-Month parental leave starting in august 2026, working within a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure with the college of physicians and surgeons of british columbia and hold certification from either the college of family physicians of canada or the royal college of physicians and surgeons of canada. Preference is given to those who have completed additional training in palliative medicine, such as an enhanced skills residency leading to a cac or a two-Year royal college subspecialty.
