The clinical mentor acts as an experienced resource, providing rapid, hands-On clinical mentorship and practice support to nurses and team members in collaboration with nurse educators. This involves role modeling best practices, observing care delivery, providing constructive feedback, and supporting skill development and clinical decision-Making.
Applicants must possess current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the bc college of nurses and midwives and have three years of recent practice in acute, community health, or long term care, including experience mentoring staff. A valid bc driver's license and access to a personal vehicle may also be required.
