Job Description

The purpose of the Child and Youth Services program is to promote, preserve and restore the mental health of children, youth and families. Clients include children and youth who are insecure, aggressive, depressed, anxious and/or withdrawn, who may live in dysfunctional families and communities and who are suicidal, traumatized, criminally offending and suffering from significant development disabilities. The position performs a broad range of psychological testing and assessment procedures. The position performs crisis intervention procedures and treatment of clients. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
