The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a scholar-Practitioner role, integrating direct practice experience with an emerging research program and demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the graduate level. Responsibilities also include engaging in community building and service through participation on various committees and student supervision.
Applicants must hold at least one social work degree (Bsw or msw) and a phd (Or abd with completion expected within one year), along with a minimum of three years of professional social work experience, preferably in micro-Practice areas like aging or mental health. Demonstrated excellence in post-Secondary social work teaching and an active research program are also required.
