Assistant Professor-Department of Biology (Biologist)

The successful candidate will establish an independent, externally-Funded research program focusing on microbial systems biology related to environmental sustainability, while also contributing to teaching foundational biology courses and training highly qualified personnel at the graduate level. They are also expected to contribute service to the university and academic community.

Applicants must possess a phd in biological sciences or a related discipline with relevant post-Doctoral experience in microbial systems biology related to environmental sustainability, demonstrating strong research productivity potential. The role requires teaching undergraduate biology courses and a commitment to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
