The role involves teaching a maximum of four courses per academic year within the bachelor of social work program, primarily in-Person, while integrating social justice principles into a collaborative and student-Centered pedagogy. Successful candidates are also expected to maintain an emerging program of research, engage in community building within laurier and local communities, and serve on various university committees.
Applicants must hold at least one social work degree (Bsw or msw) and a phd (Or abd with completion expected within one year), along with a minimum of three years of professional social work experience, preferably with direct practice expertise. Candidates must also demonstrate teaching effectiveness, an active research program, and a commitment to promoting edi and decolonization.
