The chaplain assesses and provides direct spiritual and religious support to residents, families, and staff in a multi-Faith environment, ensuring access to appropriate practices and rituals. This role also involves providing supportive counseling, leading various faith-Based groups, and participating in memorial services.
Candidates must have a degree or diploma in divinity/Theology, pastoral education, or equivalent spiritual education, along with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Experience providing spiritual care in a long-Term care (Ltc) setting is considered an asset, and a successful police check/Vulnerable screening check is required.
