  • <p></p> <p></p><p>Effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027</p><p>This position is for Primary</p><p>Parkland is located approximately 30km north of Dawson Creek. It is a school with three classrooms and a population of approximately 65 students (K-7).</p><p>For more information, please contact Mark Elson, Principal, at 250-843-7777</p><p><b><u>Parkland Elementary School</u></b></p><p>Located in the welcoming community of Farmington, BC, just north of Dawson Creek, our school provides a nurturing educational environment for approximately 65 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. With just three classrooms, we foster close connections among students, staff, and families, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every learner is supported.</p><p> </p><p>Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to enrich student experiences. Inside, we offer a gymnasium featuring an indoor climbing wall, a newly designed educational kitchen, and a modern computer lab. Outdoors, students enjoy a vibrant school yard that includes a soccer field, baseball diamond, outdoor classroom with scenic trails and a bridge, picnic tables, and a playground equipped with new equipment.</p><p> </p><p>We are proud to seek passionate educators who are committed to building a supportive, community-oriented learning environment. An amount of up to $4,000 of the salary paid to the employee shall be designated as a Northern Allowance Travel benefit. This allowance shall be in effect within the guidelines of Revenue Canada as they exist and are changed by Revenue Canada from year to year and shall end when the Revenue Canada program ends. Regular part time employees’ allowance will be prorated proportionate to the hours worked</li> <li>Remote and Rural Allowance: Teachers working in School District No. 59 are eligible to receive a remote and rural allowance, which is both an adjustment to the salary grid and an annual allowance of approximately $3,035
